Any word on what 6.15 is supposed to fix?
I heard 6.15 will fix whatever 6.14.2 did not fixSoCalGuy said:Any word on what 6.15 is supposed to fix?
Unlikely given that 6.14.2 didn't necessarily fix all that was not fixed in 6.13...Karma 2012 said:I heard 6.15 will fix whatever 6.14.2 did not fixSoCalGuy said:Any word on what 6.15 is supposed to fix?![]()
Wouldn't it be great if Fisker made a list of what is fixed in 6.15 available to the dealers when they release the software to them? :idea:SoCalGuy said:Any word on what 6.15 is supposed to fix?
Before Arun was laid off he made several accurate predictions concerning deadlines on my car including that I would get my car this week. He told me that Fiskers goal is to have everything fixed by 6.30 .Dutch said:Good thing they are bèta-testing this version. I hope two weeks of testing is enough though, I'd be more happy with two months. But as many cars are being delivered every day now (deliveries have finally started in most European coutries, until now just customers in The Netherlands were getting their Karma) it is important to get the major bugs fixed quickly and get all cars relatively bug-free as soon as possible. So that the tone of this forum can change to what it should be. Perfection in the form of a really thoroughly tested version (6.18, 6.19, 6.20?) can come later.
Just a heads when they release an update they do include what the update is going to do and list which modules get the software update . Before we start a update we check what the latest software version that module has and after the update we make sure the software version has changed .dennis said:Wouldn't it be great if Fisker made a list of what is fixed in 6.15 available to the dealers when they release the software to them? :idea:SoCalGuy said:Any word on what 6.15 is supposed to fix?
That way they wouldn't be bypassing their distribution and service channel. Each owner could consult with their dealer to determine if it was worthwhile to schedule a service appointment to upgrade their software. Seems like a no-brainer to me, but what would I know. I'm just a customer.
BTW, my service manager agrees. But again, what would he know. He's just a guy working for a firm that invested millions of dollars to sell and service Fisker automobiles.
