My car arrived at Fisker Marin this week and Fisker engineers are scheduled to come up this evening to install (according to my salesperson) 6.14 on it. If he is correct about the version, this means that Fisker is sufficiently confident of the fixes for the major bugs that they are not addressing the less major ones. Sounds like good progress is being made.

My weekly call from Fisker today said they knew "nothing conclusive" about 6.14. If it was finished, when it would be finished, when it would be sent to dealers...nothing. Confusing...

My dealer (who had a Fisker technician next to him) also said 6.14 wasn't yet released, and was a few weeks away.
I guess the initial report was incorrect. I got an email from the deale later in the day saying that 6.13 was installed, so ...

I went to test-drive my Karma yesterday and the tech/mechanic confirmed that my car has 6.14 installed. It is one of, if not the first, to receive 6.14. He told me this without my even asking so this is not a case my being told what I want to hear.

BTW, the car performed really well in my one hour of driving and "playing with the buttons"

after I had the 6:13 installed on my car I can no longer use my 220v charger. Anyone else experiencing this on their cars, My dealer told me there are others with the same problem.
That's annoying but as long as you can charge your car overnight, it should not prevent you from getting a full charge at home. Public charge stations are a different story and it definitely needs to get fixed quickly.

Henrik called me today! He said I would probably be getting a call this week to have software version "6.13 and a half" installed.

I really appreciated his call (it was 12:15 PM here, so it must have been 3:15 or 4:15 AM in California!). It's this kind of personal attention that the company needs. He apologized for the delays and for the software issues, and said they are working hard on getting things fixed. I mentioned the trunk overbite, and he said they're also trying to find a solution for that.

As he probably has enough customers complaining, I was brief about the few shortcoming of my car. And I told him they pale in comparison to the awesome design and smooth ride of the car. I said that in my opinion the small errors are things that come with the territory of a (any) start-up company, that I appreciate their efforts to fix them, and that I think it is really astonishing what they have achieved in just 4 years time.

ffcars, does 6.13.5 enable proper 'ease of exit and entry' and 'remote cabin preconditioning'?
@Kab: My car has 6.13 and the "Ease of Entry" option works on my car. The trick is that you absolutely have to enable ACC mode and wait for the seat to position itself before starting the car. If the seat does not move with ACC slected, I just turn off the car and select ACC again and the seat starts moving forward. Seems like a time issue.

Regarding the charging, it appears that the problem is only with delayed charging. If your charger (110v or 220V) is ready to start charging, it works fine. But if you plug the car in but the charger is programmed to start the charging later, the car would not be charged. Both of these should be a relatively easy fix compared to some of the other stuff.

I found out today that my car has 6.14, not 6.13.5.

I have had a few major bugs already. Today the car wouldn't go into D or R. Even after a hard reboot. The tech came to my house and did the same exact thing as I had tried 3 times; but it worked for him.

Another problem was the truck would not open on Saturday. I didn't do a hard reboot, but the next day it worked after I drove it for a few miles.

Other than that, it's doing fine.

I received the following message this afternoon from my contact at Fisker HQ Customer Support:

613.5 software should address the fail in delay charging and potential diagnostic trouble codes. However, we will be releasing details on 614 tomorrow. It should be released later this week so, if possible, I would recommend waiting for 614 to be released so your vehicle can receive both updates in one visit. Once I receive an update on 614’s release I will relay this information to you.
