Default Toronto Owners

i have been told that there are 28 owners in and around Toronto. I may be interested in bringing one of the techs that are on the forum, up to Toronto to possibly repair a battery relay and check the car over. Is there any interest from other owners in this area?

I don't know that there are any other FB participants from Toronto besides you (I'm Toronto-born, but not much help to you down here in Florida). You might consider asking the Toronto dealership if they would be willing to communicate with their buyers and supply your contact into in that communication. This may also be in the interests of the dealership in providing services to owners that dealer may not be able to deliver themselves.

Or you may just contact the dealer to say you want to organize a karma club, with joint-servicing being one of the potential benefits of membership.

May also want to send a PM to Acadia (in Vancouver, but I know he travels to Toronto and may know owners there), and HockeyDad (undisclosed location, but I think he's up there too).

Hi Jim,

I'm a new fisker owner and would love to be able to communicate to other owners to better understand servicing / maintenance, etc... I'm a business owner located in Aurora, ON. Hopefully you receive this reply.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Congrats on the purchase. I took delivery of my Eco Sport (see garage) vin 1802 in may of 2012. Have had servicing with Dixie VW. They have been good although with FA in trouble, I have had to pay for warranty issues and am currently faced with a connector problem in my HV battery.
Did you buy from Fisker Toronto?
There are several owners in the Toronto area (28 I think) and i would like to get their participation on this forum as it represents a great support. We could also plan a Fisker get together and talk cars.
I did PM HockeyDad a while ago but did not hear from him.
I am in Jordan Station near St Catharines.

Jim

Hi guys,

I own a 2012 EcoChic that I purchased earlier this year and I'm looking to get it serviced before putting it away for the winter. I just spoke to Nick at 401/Dixie VW and they are no longer able to service the vehicle as their trained technician is unable to work due to a motorcycle accident. In addition, they've had no further communication from Fisker as to how and when they can send anyone for training.

Any other suggestions for servicing? I live downtown Toronto and would really appreciate the feedback as to what others plans are.

Regards,

John

I just received this Wine Tour info and have registered. It is sponsored by Suncountry and some local wineries. It is short notice but I thought some local Karma owners might be interested. Jim

Has anyone in the Toronto area had any experience with our new CSP at Grand Touring Autos? I am about to have the 520 update done, a steering wheel tilt relay replaced and the Boscal exhausts installed in necessary. Would also like my RDM's checked for the confirmation that I have the "hard spines". Are there any other warranty issues I should be looking into?

-HVAC module hardware, then software, then calibrate HVAC unit. Check all damper (floor/defrost/vent and temp ) functions. Had alot of HVAC units failing.
-Lug nuts (magnicoated)
-brake noise bulletin
-door cut line seals
-PRND switch hardware replacement for flickering
-CIU water intrusion
-ICE fan
-beyond the latest traction motors, there are multiple reworks that the RDM (differential) haven't had done but most likely a new CSP will not have capability to perform and would need to install a new RDM (which would use up your entire csp funds alone)
-don't forget a THOROUGH going thru the HV battery

Didn't mean to blow your list out of the water but these are some of the important things we go over that shouldn't be overlooked.
