Default Bluetooth Phone Crackling

Is anyone else having an issue with crackling and noise when speaking on the bluetooth? I am using an iPhone 6, but the connection sounds awful. Thanks in advance!

I believe I am correct when I say that using a phone via Bluetooth connectivity has always been an issue with the Karma. I very quickly abandoned trying to speak on the phone over Bluetooth because there was so much crackling.

Here is a thread on the topic:

I agree with Weird Fishes, but my iPhone 6 is a lot worse than 5. I have tried turning done the phone volume but no difference.

Is your crackling something you're hearing? Or something that the people you're speaking to are saying is happening to your voice?

It's typically crackling from the speakers when you talk or the remote person talks. I sure hope one of the upgrades fixes this problem because between the crackling and the horrible echo problem, I never use the bluetooth other than for streaming music.

Mine sounds great to me in the car. @WATTGAS, you've called me 3-4 times while I was in my car ... Did it sound bad on your end? You sounded perfect on my end. I was wondering if it had more problems with Apple than Android (I have a Samsung phone). I also have a reasonably late VIN if that matters (2114).

Maybe it's just a matter of having Inferno paint!

@JCMorrill, I will pay closer attention the next time we speak. My wife says the echo occurs when she calls me in the car. I've tried turning down the volume on my cell phone, but don't know if that helps with the echo problem or not. My phone is a Galaxy Note 4, but I've only had it a month. The crackling is consistent between my previous phone (Galaxy S4) and now my Note 4. My car is VIN 2204.

P.S. Your Inferno idea is nice, but unfortunately my car blows that theory out of the water.
