I find it interesting that some owners are interested in trying to silence our "relatively" silent Karma. If we ever come up with the right "taped" throat for the Karma, we will override the discomfort of it's current speech, IMHO.
Yes! During the development of the Karma, I had suggested that the car have the ability for the driver to choose the sound emanating from the forward and rear speakers: Formula One, V8 muscle, V12 Ferrari, Old school Jaguar, Star Wars theme, Beethoven's Fifth, whatever! Under 25 MPH could be the basic Karma "huummmm", but over 25 when the combustion generator is running, the speaker sound could offset the natural exhaust note.
