Some Selling their Place in Fisker Waiting List

I have started seeing ads like this by folks who claim to have a low Fisker wait list number and offering to sell their place for a premium over the deposit. Barring outright scams, I am not sure if these ads represent folks who just put down the deposit to sell it or people who want to get another car now that there are some possible options. Let's hope they are getting a lot of takers. That would be good news for the continued success of Fisker. Would you sell your place in line for a profit?

The ad is gone. Maybe he sold it (I don't think Fisker will allow the sale of a reservation, but they probably can't prevent someone from ordering a car to the specifications of someone else).

Obviously, Fisker has no obligation to honor delivery of a vehicle to anyone other than the person who made the deposit. I agree with Dutch, that someone could order the Fisker Karma with the options desired by the potential buyer and then sell it to them. Of course, neither would qualify for the tax credit in that scenario because I am fairly certain that a one year ownership is stipulated by the IRS and it is only good for the original buyer. I could be wrong.

@Dutch: It could also just be scam to get $10K out of someone in exchange for nothing at all. This is Craigslist we are talking about.
