Stucked charge cable
All,
Perhaps simple solution, but big problem.
I am not able to unplug my charge cable - it is stucked, hence car will not start. Yellow indicator in the instrument cluster lights as normal, when plugged in.
Any solutions?
Is the a magnetic lock to secure the cable which is not working?
Is it a «vehichle problem» or «charge cable» problem?
There are 4 torx screws around the charge plug - can I unscrew these or do I destroy more?
I have tried hard reset - did not help.
Appreciate help from the community.
Thank in advance.

The problem Is the cable not the car. If your using the original Fisker charger that was a common problem the release button would break. You might have to destroy the handle in order to get it to release or on the end of the handle on the bottom side is the release hook try and get to that

Thanks Harleyguy for your fast response
So there is nothing in the car which can block/lock the cable?
Btw, I do not use the orginal cable, but guess it can be same with other cables as well.
Just good to know when trying to get the cable loose.

Just to provide update; I got the charge cable out.
It was, as Harleyguy stated, the release mechanism not fully enganging.
it is not the originally charge cable, so this can happen on other cables as well.
Just to inform, I managed to use a thin screw driver, a lot of light, and care to lift the locking arm on top of the connector up, so I could pull the connector out. No damage to the charge port, or the cable, so all working fine now, but I am checkin the release mechanism on the cable
Thanks again to Harleyguy, when I knew the cable is not locked to the car, as beeing the case for the charge connector on my BMW i3 and Mercedes EQ, I could apply the right «motivation» to fix this without breaking anything.

The last month or so I have the same issue. I use another brand type 2 -> 1 charge cable and need to press very hard to lift the lever enough to release from the car. Maybe this happens to ‘senior’ electric drivers? 🙃
