Tire with very slow leak, rear drivers side

I have a slow leak in my rear driver side tire. I get a low pressure warning about once a month and then I have it checked and filled back up.
It is an original tire. I only have about 6,000 miles on the car. I am the second owner and I have owned the car since October 2017, when it had only 2,500 miles on it.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Sounds like you have a nail or screw in it. Have you taken it to Discount Tire? They fix leaks for free.

I had an issue with the same thing, it was a small hairline fracture on the inside of my wheel, had to get it welded

The rim and tire need to be dunked in a water tank . Tire stores usually have them I have one at my dealership

Buxinvest, I had a similar problem with one of my tires. I took it back to the shop 3 times as the tire kept losing air. The last time they removed the tire from the rim and found corrosion on the alloy rim where the tire meets the rim which was keeping the tired from getting a good seal. I suggest having the rim checked and if necessary, polished smooth. They buffed out the corrosion and I've never had an issue again.

All: Thanks for your replies. I am having it checked out tomorrow.

Both shops that I have taken the car to, to check my tire, say I have tire rot on my tires and that they should probably be replaced, even though they still have a lot of tread and only 6,150 miles on them. The car sat for five years before I bought it it and had only 2,450 miles on it. I have owned it a year now and have 6,150 miles on it.
Anyone else have this problem?

i have over 8000 miles and still have the same tire when i bought the car in 2012 - I drive it every week or other week - I guess not driven for 5 years could cause rot -- just change them , so not be more then 900 for all 4
