Default Rubber Seals Unattached

The vertical rubber seal on the drivers door has come adrift. I tried using good old Gorilla glue but (surprisingly to me) it did not 'stick'; a complete lack of interest between the rubber and the painted surface.

Has anybody found a glue that would solve my challenge?

Simon

Are you talking about the seal between the front door and the fender the seal thatís suppose to be glued to the front edge of the door ?

If thatís the seal that has come loose it wonít stay in place with any glue . Fisker came out with a service fix . The fix was to grab the seal pull it out and throw away. Iím not kidding the seal really doesnít do anything and thatís the way we fixed them.

I took mine off 3 years ago without any problem. There was no way to make it stay.

Outstanding - thank you gentlemen.

I have managed to re-attach the vertical rubber strip for now using Gorilla Glue (clear) but you never know how long that will last for and will happily remove it if it preseents any other issues.

To keep the strip in place while it cured, I packed the space behind the door with rolled up microfiber cloths and shut the door - that was just enough to keep the rubber pressed against the inside door.

I used gorilla double sided tape. The seal was replaced under warranty which lasted about a year. Since the driver's door is used more, it came loose. I cleaned the surface completely (tight area). Then removed the seal and removed the double sided tape from it as well. Applied the double sided tape to the doors surface, and then carefully replaced the seal on the tape. I have small hands and a lot of patience. This is not an "easy" fix, but doable.

Although it causes no issue, the gap is unsightly and the black seal looks more finished. It has now been in place for 2-3 years.
