Thx @PowerSource,

Any further information on the SPBC?
- how it looks / what is written on it
- how can it be checked?

Is it in the area where we installed TOM?
- would make sense... lots of cables there

Thx for additional information. This is not only relevant for me. I have met dany65 who has the same issue.

Best
Christoph

Dany65 told me that his fans started working after turning on the "Remote Start-Option"
...also his animation shows the output of the Solar Panel

Fab... I am away from home right now. I never found it in a manual. After a reset, mine was not working, so I went to the settings and turned on Remote Start. I functioned afterwards. When ever the CIU looses its settings, I have to restore Remote Start to make if function.

Fab... the Pressing the Key FOB for 2 seconds for the cabin fan is on page 5.17 in my PC copy of the manual. However, the manual does not mention remote start under Cabin Preconditioning.

Quick follow-up: I checked voltage on Fuse 27 against Ground, and whether the car is in sun or in shade, the same voltage (13.4V) is present. As I understand it now, fuse 27 protects the power supply to the SBPC. The power produced by the solar panel does not go through that circuit and cannot be detected that way.

Looks like the best, and only bet, is to measure the inputs to SPBC, while the car is sitting in sunlight, to see if there is any power coming from the array.

Here is a link to a photo of the metal cover of the enclosure that houses the SPBC

Itís located under the carpet of the passenger side footwell, or so I am told.

The metal cover hinges up and the SPBC is inside the enclosure.

The quest continues.
