First make sure Remote Start (oddly) is on in the settings. Then try pressing the lock button twice... Hold till the brake lights flash off and on, the hold again until the brake and backup lights flash. The fan should be on... try with the windows down so you can hear the fan. It is faint.

I donít usually find myself saying this about the Karma, but I have never heard of this procedure. Where did you come upon this little gem?

There is a precondition setting, but AFAIK, that does not control the Solar Fan, but I could be wrong about that. Just never seen the two things connected.

Can you point me to the page in the manual that explains that? I caníf Find it.

Also, I tried the multi-lock thing with the fob and lights flashed the same way both times.

Thanks.

Same for me...

- 5.17 in manual* says - hold keyfob 2sec to to start the fan circulation...
(an arrow points to the lock button but the text says unlock button)
(* German Manual)

- The multi-lock thing made the lights flash twice the same way both times (no break lights on/off etc.) but will try again.

- Couldn't find the preconditioning setting either

But my will is strong and I am greateful for all input.

That information is not in the English version of the users manaual. There is a reference to a function called ďRemote StartĒ in the touchscreen manual (see this photo: https://imgur.com/a/yuk2F6a), which sounds like the type of function we are talking about. There is also no reference to any Fob function other than locking and unlocking the doors.

But back to the original topic, I have found nothing in the manual that connects the solar venting function to any user setting.
