I have this printed out and I keep it in the car:

How to run the internal combustion engine
in the Fisker Karma for state emissions testing

  1. Put car in sport mode
  2. Place the drive selector in "D"
  3. Hold brake and push accelerator pedal to floor quickly and release
  4. The ICE will run long enough for emissions analyzer to scan

Note: The HV battery cannot be fully charged or the ICE will not come on

Yes, I have tried all of these. can't get O2 and cat in ready mode. Drove like 1000 miles, seriously. One time 55 mph for like 50 miles. so I got like 7 not ready's do to airbag recall disconnecting the battery down to 2. The O2 sensor and the Cat.

All they did was hook up a machine reader to my car and after 10 minutes, I was done. Not sure why you would have to do all of this. Check the states website on how to perform a smog check for an EV. It's a simple process someone seems to be making a big deal about.

I think because my battery was reset like a month ago by airbag replacement, the sensor's haven't cycled enough. But it could be some other problem. That is what they did they hooked it up and came back real quick and said just need to put more miles on it cause the battery was recently disconnected. So I was at like 7 different things that had to cycle enough and now i'm down to 2. 02 sensor and the catalyst.

You don’t need to do anything. As long as they are no stored codes (you can read and clear any codes with an OBDII reader), and you have not modified the ICE in your car, it will pass SMOG in CA. See my post about my own recent experience here: https://www.fiskerbuzz.com/forums/13-...tml#post306058

If you have to clear stored codes, you just need to drive your car for a few miles at different speeds until the different codes clear.

I saw your post and did make sure everything was good. No error codes. The problem is where you say failed for liquid fuel leak check, mine says not ready.
