Default New owner - PRND switch & CIU questions

Hi, I recently picked up a Karma down in Dallas, TX and had a few questions:
  1. My PRND has a crack in it, and it's also doing the "disco-ball" thing occasionally where the letters light up randomly while I'm driving. I read this post by Joe where he said to "Replace the switch with PN index 001". Does PN=Part Number, and index=last few numbers in the PN? I'm wondering if something like this would work as the PN ends with 001. Also, what's the ballpark on hours/price for replacing the PRND switchpack?
  2. The reverse camera does not kick in, the Nav says deactivated/take to dealer, and the radio presets don't get saved between restarts. I know this is likely a CIU failure, but I was wondering if anyone has succesfully fixed those issues with a simple re-flash vs. a full CIU replacement.
  3. I've read that water getting into the CIU/electronics is a common cause of CIU failure. Is there a recommendation for sealing the CIU to mitigate that issue? I recall seeing a post where someone applied some black sealer around the CIU wiring and was wondering if that was worth looking into.
  4. The front park sensor worked the first few times I parked my car, but when I pulled into my garage just now, it did not beep. I tried turning the park sensors on/off, but it still didn't beep. Could this be related the CIU issue?

Thank you all in advance, very happy to join the club! Pic attached (and yes, it's purple!)

1, 2, and 3: Call @FiskerPhilly Joe Ferrante.
4. The parking sensors are disabled when the car is in Hill mode. Make sure you have Hill mode off when you need them, i.e., when parking the car. If that's not the case, see my answers to 1, 2, and 3 above.

That is the correct part # index 001 however there are 2 different color PRND switches. Ice blue goes with monsoon, glacier chic, black sand and I believe Dune interiors. The bronze(shown in your link) with the ZJ at the end fits canyon, earth chic and signature mohave
Plus that price is WAY inflated!

I feel a bit rainman-ish after spouting that off the top of my head without a parts catalog lol.

Call me it will be much easier.

And BTW, with the username @mentat, shouldn't your Karma be Dune colored?
