if you run 21's there are michelin solutions. Been running Model S PS2'
s on my Karma for a while. Have two karma's from the fleet one running PS2's the other the cheapest possible tire (i think lexani's). Will be interesting to see what happens (the PS2's are like at 50pct wear the Lexani's show almost no wear at same mileage).

Got a new set of Yoko tires this week. Perfect match for the Karma. Not much more road noise, car still rides smooth as it did before. A little more noise when I change lanes with the dumb CA reflectors on the lines as the tires bounce over them.

Very glad I did it. Tire rack direct shipped to Wheelworks.

Best of all no more "Hey man cool car, wow those tires are really bald" comments at the gas station.

Yoko's Parada Spec X's (235/35R22/106V 99V. I put these on and they are great--reduced road noise, grip is insane in all weather versus the standard summer treads, and ran me $380 each so much less for all 4. Good luck.

My Front GoodYear F1's (orig. spec) are just fine for maybe anpother 4-5K miles., but need new Rear tires. Anyone know if I could change to Yoko's on the Rear only? Car lives in So. Calif. Thanks.

Just a matter of preference for me, but I never mix brands/tread designs of tires from front to rear. The Karma is a heavy and powerful vehicle. I would not recommend compromising tires for a couple of extra miles on the front -- replace all four -- you will be replacing the front's soon anyway. If they are Good Year, the outside tread is already worn, and the "side shutter" is probably occurring in tight turns.

You probably also get a better overall alignment if you put in four new tires, rather than mixing old and new tires.

@ doc, I can take a picture tomorrow. I need instruction on posting here. BTW, it will be with YOKOs that have 8,000 miles. The difference is amazing.
