Nin Ja, we are so opposite. I mostly only drive my Karma to work and back.
@steven that's cool! Sounds like you have confidence in the roads and drivers. I have other cars for that, my Karma is not a work horse, she is a "show" car - As they say in Libertarian circles, to each his own - LOL

I have not been on the forum for a while as I sold my Fisker 10 months ago. I definitely miss that sexy car and the attention it commanded.

I also switched to a Tesla. It's certainly not as pretty, but it is a joy to drive. I've taken it on a few trips and have never experienced range anxiety (although I am used to having an EV with my Fisker and Leaf vehicles).

The biggest difference for me was that I was cautious of driving the Fisker. I would never take it downtown (due to tight parking, vandalism, low bumper, etc) or on long trips (afraid of possible breakdown and dislike of driving with the ICE on). With the Tesla, it's the only car I want to drive. I drive it about 5X more than I drove my Fisker. It caused me to sell my 911 and decide to never buy a non (fully) EV again.

I won't buy a Revero, but I'll certainly look at Henrik's next vehicle as I am sure he's learned from past mistakes and will hopefully blow us away (once again) with his next design.

@irarref215 and @Patrizio33 I have deleted your posts because they are off-topic and appear to relate to matters that should be handled via direct communications. I am not taking sides, just pruning the thread. Hope it all works out.

I was merely congratulating PlayOutside for a fantastic purchase, and describing how things could have been much different for him/her. I don't find that offensive. Please don't delete my post.

I did not see the two deleted posts. So I can't respond.

Take care @DHH. Nice Midnight Silver Model S. You'll enjoy the Tesla. I have both my Karma and Tesla, challlenge which to drive. I love the attention the Karma gets -- even after 5 years. The Tesla features are more up-to-date and beyond. I enjoy both.

Agreed - best looking car on the road ever is the Fisker.

If they could put a Karma body on this thing it would be perfect.

I will be back but will see how the new company plays out for a year or two.

Thanks again for all the great info here. I will continue to lurk.

great combo I just traded in my 2012 P85 signature in for a P100D Ludicrious.. been a huge Tesla fan since 2008 when I pre-ordered my P85 Signature and Tesla Roadster (which I still daily drive).

Congrats @DHH. You will love the S as you did your Karma. Fortunately, I have both cars. They each have advantages. I have had the Karma since 2012, and had very few issues (save a RDM). Please stop by the Forum anytime.
