Well, they're building the same car externally. Same body panels, same structure, same visual components. Except for some minor trim and brightwork and maybe a new grill it's going to be exactly the same. They've never claimed otherwise.

What will be different are the mechanicals, the powertrain the the software. It will be a similar wrapper on a very different car I expect.

I'm going to KA in CA this weekend to participate in some kind of survey/focus group. I think it's about owner opinions for CIU functionality. Looking forward to it, but I suspect indicates that they really don't have final finished cars rolling off, yet, to photograph.

Wear those video recording spy glasses in and get us the scoop! Wander around and you can say I was lost (take pictures).

To end completely the speculation about that picture - it features in a 2013 seminar by Henrik Fisker himself on design principles.

Yeah, well. First, it's all happening at a hotel, so there probably won't be anything for me to see. But, lastly - I don't want to give fodder to those who start with a negative position and then consider reading something that some random guy wrote on the internet as "journalism" and go off and write whole articles on my naive, unfiltered, unprofessional thoughts. That's already happened, so ... not doing that again. I like what KA has done for us. I just want to help.

The KA engineer I talked to said the car will basically be the same as they still have most of the parts left including the engines from FA. Some of the electronics will be new as the ones in our cars are outdated. He said they also will improve on the panel gaps and have new colors to offer. The diamond dust paint will not be offered and they are going to some type of metallic paint.

Surf grills or mesh? I really want a different grill option. I'm search for reasonable deal on one. I can't find a surf grill though.

You just have to know where to look! I have a pair of surf grilles in stock. And we make mesh grilles but need to do the full install on them in person as they are fitted to the fascia. PM me
