Default Just got my best range on battery - almost 44 miles

So I just got the best range on my battery. I drove it a little over 43 actual miles before the ice kicked in. It's the best range to date I have gotten since owning the car. I drove about 90% highway. The temp outside is 69 degrees and its daytime. I'm pretty happy bout that

Congratulations. What was the terrain like and what was your speed?

The terrain had a few hills. Nothing major in Dallas/Ft Worth. My speed for the most part ranged from 60-70 mph

I live in Cedar Hill and drive to Dallas daily. Keep heater, AC, and seat heater off, drive 60mph and you will get closer to 50 miles per charge for the next week. Our weather forecast is perfect right now, isn't it?

I only have 400 miles on my Karma and it looks like the low 40s is where I am at the moment. I did use a half-gallon of gas so far. My bad.

Before I bought my car, I drove a higher-mileage demo for a 150 miles and got almost 50 miles out of the battery. But it was a borrowed car and I drove it very cautiously and with a light foot. (You break it - you own it.)

I'm just wondering if, at the beginning of a battery's life-cycle, storage capacity increases over time as the battery becomes "conditioned." Anyone? (I know what happens at the end of the life-cycle.)
