Default could someone please illuminate me?

Hi,

I'm wondering how the reversing lights below the rear license plate is supposed to work.

Mine seems to lighten only the mid third of the row of LEDs.
Is this correkt or are the left and right third portions defect?

Thanks.
Stefan

Mine is the same way. I asked my local CSP the same question so he checked a few Karmas he had there. They all were the same. It would be nice to have the whole light bar work.

I found a pic on Google, where one had the left and right 3rd of the bar illuminated in blue ... so there seem to be a solution.

Does it work for anyone at all?

The outside portions are rear fog lights that can be actuated with the lamp stalk. Very similar to the Mini Cooper setup. We use the rear fogs for charge indicator and reverse for charge complete.

Is there a simple add to illuminate the power socket in blue like you have it in the video?

Afraid not requires pulling out the charge cup and splicing into the OBCM harness. The light actually illuminates based on amount of current being drawn, charge rate etc- so a bit more than just illumination. If you are looking for simple illumination you can get a self contained battery operated light string online.

Any suggestions for such a light string? The ones I see are bulky and are several feet long.
