@PowerSource - that is pretty cool, no pun intended. @FiskerPhilly was right, you are up to some amazing things.

That is neat! Can you figure out how to swap the paddles? I'd like my HILL MODE on the left (so that when I drive 1-handed I can signal and "down shift" (which I do frequently) all with the left hand. And, put the rarely used Sport Mode control on the right -- which is the hand I use to mess with the screen/sip a drink/hold hands/etc ... and sometimes have trouble downshifting for max battery regen braking because my left hand is doing the driving. That should be a software fix (and an option in the settings).

Maybe we should start a new thread of requested features that they can implement?

There is one on the new "Official" Fisker site. As suggestions for their 540 software version (the specs of which are not set). Whom do you mean by "they"?

I think @Fanofearth meant us by "they"- we are not affiliated with FATG. Whenever we have time we work on these projects and are sharing them with the community. If there are features that the user community would like to be implemented we can try to do that.

How do you load your "shared" features into a car? If you can figure out how to swap the paddles, I'd love to try it. (So long as it could be put back if there's a problem.)

It is a plug and play fully configurable hardware solution with wireless connectivity so features can be added in the future. Right now we have cars in various stages of Beta so the next release will be production (all dependent if there is support for our product in the Karma owners community). We will try to release a video every Friday of a requested mod- but the beauty of our technology is that we can upgrade the functionality of it over time.

In watching your video, and thinking about functionality ... the volume control for the stereo is always visible on the touch screen. So, I was thinking that the best/easiest button to use to adjust the fan control would be the steering wheel volume control. And, then the roller for (stock) changing radio channels could be the temperature adjustment - and pushing that roller in could change the Recirc/Fresh air option.

But, that's what I think. If you're doing this hardware upgrade ... why not make it so that the user could assign any function in the car to any button in the car (like changing the button functions on a video game controller)?
