Clicking Sound as i turn the wheel

Could anyone tell me what the clicking noise is when I turn my steering wheel. I just bought my Fisker a few months ago and it started about a month ago. Thanks.

Need new style magnicoat lug nuts. The original design make a noise similar to something caught in the spoke of a bicycle.

Both front wheels only? or all 4?
Can I order them from you?

Yes you can order them when the bulletin came out Fisker wanted us to replace all the lug nuts but I haven't seen installing them on the rear wheel make any difference . I assume they wanted all of them replaced this way if you mix up the lug nuts you would always have the new style on the front . You can email me and we can get you a set if you like

funny just started hearing the clicking noise when i turn the car to the left only. it started shortly after i removed the right passenger side wheel to replace the battery -- should i follow these instruction (see below) -- i don't know if the dealer ever replaced my lug bolts -- I assume it's do the the torque issue (ie 160 lb) since I never made the noise before - I used a normal wrench to put back the bolts. does not fixing this issue cause problems? should I do it NOW or can it wait until I come up for the Airbag replacement?

Just make sure wheels are good and tight. I will check lugs when you are here. The noise won't hurt anything. Just an annoyance.

ya same thing happens to me; Started around 28000km. Clicking only occurs in parking lot situations cranking the wheel.

If you have done the coated lugs...Have you checked to see if the mating surface between wheel and hub are not rusted out? Needs a good solid mating surface. I have seen several Karma's with surface rust on hubs. Take a wire wheel or some sand paper to the rust

Thank You powersource and Fiskerphilly -- feel better now, i'll try sanding and tighten and see if that helps, if not, I'll let you Fiskerphilly take care of it when I see you for the airbag.
