Thats a picture of a traction motor. Looks like a green circle to me

I think The green dot just mean they used different supplier for the splines and no one knows what quality they used as the company started in bankruptcy process with no quality control ..
..
I had the option to choose between new Motor (no warranty)or rebuild I chose the rebuild not because it's cheaper but the rebuild ones at least I know guaranteed hard splines will be loctite The whole rdm ... Remember you still need to re work the c clip and crush nut in the rdm for most of the cars
..Also the rebuild come with one year warranty so i think the rebuild Should last for long time I ,,hope

Thanks for correcting me Lormax, I always thought that was the RDM. Goes to show why I'm only talking about them and not actually fixing them!

Does anyone know if the serial numbers on the TMs could be cross referenced to a build date/location? Wondering if that would allow owners to tell if they had hardened splines or not.
