Great to hear Henrik's voice behind a proposed Fisker ad. I do agree with previous posts on this dialogue, however. It sounds more like a defense than of an offense. I'm not sure the general public are yet entirely aware of the car, much less our microcosm of issues we think about daily and discuss on this forum. Thus, I don't think we need Fisker to "defend' the car as much as we need to see it promoted for all the greatness it embodies. None the less: Great video and production. Thanks.

What is the date of 10-20-12 at the end referring to?

It's just the date this was created for YouTube. That's all.

Considering that the date is two months in the future, I don't think so.

This was a 1 minute teaser video. My guess is that an actual video short called "The Pursuit of Change" will release on 10/20/2012.

You are correct. I'm sorry I don't know what I was thinking off when replying. This was just a trailer of a longer version that will be ready on 10/20/2012

I couldn't agree with you more on this point. Most of the folks who ask me about the car have no idea what a "Fisker" is. Most common question after I tell them that it is a Fisker? "Who makes the Fisker?" The beauty of the car speaks for itself in pictures. People need to know about the environmental pedigree, without a luxury compromise. Fisker's more personal issues with starting up a brand should be reserved for when they are a recognized sucess.

In my opinion, of course.

The voiceover is taken from Henrik's recent TEDx presentation. They chopped out a lot of the middle of the talk and put in the very beginning and the very end where he talks about jumping in the ocean, etc.

It's not a bad speech and the basic point is that the largest most iconic companies in the world started very small and by ordinary people with vision and determination who were not stopped by "nay" sayers.

I came across another video today that included Henrik and some shots of the Karma creation process I haven't seen before. The video (after the ad) is half car review and half Fisker infomercial. It's quite well done and there's a lot of good stuff here to help explain the car.

I can't manage to embed the video, so I'll leave you with a link:
