Default Replacement Parts

Has anyone received replacement body parts?
I noted with my dealer two damaged trim pieces on delivery and they have yet to get the parts in from Fisker. WTF. I have written Fisker Corporate again, eventhough I already informed Customer Affairs and am awaiting a reply.

I thought things would change with Mr. LaSorda at the helm, but it looks to me like the same old 'all talk and no walk' with customer service. I mean, my dealer can't even get floor mats that they have had ordered for weeks.

It took a while, but I actually did get my floor mats this week They look nice.

I don't have any replacement parts on order, so I have no other info for you.

Well I took delivery in early Feb and got the floormats this week, so about 2 months. The dealership took some of the blame; I think there was some delay or confusion on their end on actually placing the order with the supplier. My dealer got in 40 sets they said.

I don't have any pictures of the mats in my car, and I'm away for the weekend, but I can tell you they fit well and look nice. I have the black interior, and got black floor mats. They have the Fisker logo embossed and they hook into the mat holders in the footwells.

I do have one pic the dealer sent me of the mats when they arrived, just to prove they exist:

I don't have any parts on order but have been waiting forever for touch up paint which I am being told by my service department they have but still not distributing.

Just so you know the floor mats are custom made to order and take about two weeks from the time they are ordered to be made also the dealer has to order them in sets of 5 doesn't matter what color they order as long as the order that's place contains 5 .
As far as body parts you really can't blame someone like Tom LaSorda you have to remember the car is hand built in Finland and most of the body parts are accounted for by the production cars . When a part is needed sometimes they pull the part out of stock or from the plant it also has to go though customs which I feel takes the longest to get passed then shipped to your local dealer .

Uh, they should have a US parts warehouse, no excuse. Specially considering that many of the parts are made in the US.

They are also a startup that doesn't yet qualify for bank financing for inventory. They have to fund inventory by raising additional equity capital. It is not surprising that they manage parts very closely.

Not an excuse, just the reality of startups vs. established companies.

My car had a "Critical Drivetrain failure" (See thread to follow saga) that involved the torsional damper coupling between the ICE and the Generator failing catastrophically. My dealer was able to get the part from Finland I presume in about a week. I don't believe this is a standard part off of some other car, so that's pretty encouraging. I was fearing the worst.

Hello kwsmith007. My car is in the shop for repairments. My dealer can't get his hands on the spare parts. I think you had the same problem.

Engine to generator damper replacement.

C1311102030 Damper assembly (1 piece)
C1311102020 Shaft coupler (1 piece)
C1417107071 Bolt-hex fl 2 m 10 x 1.5 x 75 (10 pieces)
C1311107090 Gasket-bonded dust cover (1 piece)

Could you provide me the contact information to get the spare parts in Finland?

Best Regards,

Michel
