I hope Henrik Fisker has a hand in what to do about the front license plate required in most state in the US and not let dealership just screw plates into the front bumper.

Looking at recent high res images of the car on NA tour, it appears there are two small plugs in the front bumper below the front grill meant for front license plates. So we are going to have to screw plates to the front bumper after all.

There are a few possible solutions that may work for the Karma.
You can use 3M tape to attach a plate, as seen on this 997:
