Bo of EVcast interviewed Russell Datz, the official Fisker Automotive spokesperson, to clear up some of the controversy regarding Fisker’s loan from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Some interview highlights:

Fisker Karma pre-production vehicles will be completed by the end of this year, with series production vehicles completed in May 2010. The first customer deliveries of the Fisker Karma will be in summer 2010.

The name of Project ‘Nina’ is a reference to Christopher Columbus’s fleet of ships — representing the transition from old world to new.
