Not exactly a classifieds, but I thought this is the most appropriate place for this as we collect information from everyone.

I was told that if you lose a key, they cost $300 for the fob itself.

That's pretty typical (well, maybe a little higher than typical, but "well over 100" is normal even for a boring ordinary Ford or whatever).
