Prototype disguised as Chevrolet Corvette
From Jalopnik.
More shots at the link: http://jalopnik.com/5612123/is-this-the-...e=true&s=i Compare the license plate numbers: ![]() ![]() Jalopnik Wrote:Amid rumors of a mid-engined C7 Corvette, comes this photo of an extended wheelbase Corvette with modified bodywork and a lot of space behind the front seats. Is this a mid-engined next generation 'Vette mule or a freak one-off? UPDATE! And from the comments: Quote:the rear wheels are almost certainly the Range Rover Sport wheels. The front wheels are almost certainly the E46 M3 wheels. Both are 5x120mm bolt pattern. The corvette uses 5X4.75" which is close (actually 5x120.6mm) but there would be no reason to switch. The Zeta platform is 5x120, but why would GM use other competitors wheels on a mule? My guess, based on the California mfg plate , the approximate wheel base and track, and the mix match brand of wheels? Sedan from one of the new startups, maybe Telsa S or Fiker Karma. So it appears Fisker has been disguising the road prototypes as Corvette-ish creations, which explains why we haven't seen more spy shots of Karma prototypes out on the roads.
