Nina Revealed!
I have seen the Nina. Henrik Fisker revealed it in secrecy to a group of investors at the corporate office in Irvine, CA last week. I will not betray the request to keep ALL details of the car secret, of course. What I will say is that it is FANTASTIC! It is gorgeous as is its larger sibling, Karma. And, it should compete extremely well against the likes of the BMW 3-Series (and 5) crowd, as well as the Tesla Model S.

I dare say it is far more appealing (to me) than all the other mid-size family sedans available in the US and quite revolutionary in the overall execution with good looks being the lead attribute.

To be honest, I didn't love the SUV that was also revealed. I did love the Nina, almost as much as Karma.

RE: Nina Revealed!
That is quite high praise — great news! Smile

I've heard from another source that the SUV is tentatively called the "Surf".

Thanks for sharing and welcome to the forum.

RE: Nina Revealed!
This is great news as I have my eyes set on the Nina as my next car. It stinks that we have to wait so long to see it, but sounds like it is going to be worth the wait.

RE: Nina Revealed!
Production of the Nina should start in the third quarter of 2012.

The car won't be revealed to the public until early 2012, probably so it won't cut into Karma-sales in 2011.

RE: Nina Revealed!
Agh. I want my car sooner, but I'd rather have something physically smaller, which obviously the Nina will be...

Can I wait until 2012? Big Grin

Can you tell me what investors or politicians that approved the loan (s)were there? Thanks

RE: Nina Revealed!
When you say smaller? How is it that it will be a family sedan for 5 and more interior room if smaller than the karma? Also was it an actual car or a drawing? Will it be faster than the Karma?

RE: Nina Revealed!
The Nina is supposed to be comparable in size to a BMW-3 or 5. That's a family sedan. The Karma is bigger, but much of that space is taken up by the long hood by and the tunnel in the center of the car.

All the other questions will be answered in due time (anyone who knows, is prohibited from saying anything).
