Hello forum readers, I am from The Netherlands and I’m also been waiting a long time for my new Fisker. I ordered my Fisker by Kroymans in Hilversum, my car is on his way now and will arrive in the second week of January 2012, EcoSport, Silverwind, Black Sand Monotone.
I’m checking this forum every day for quite a while now and it is very interesting

I have a car on order in exactly the same configuration (Ecosport, Silver Wind, Black Sand Monotone). It arrived in Hilversum last week and I hope I can take delivery next Saturday. I hope you too will be able to drive soon.

Thank you Dutch for your welcome, I’m curious to read your first review when you collect your car, it’s very excited to read the other story’s off the first owners on this forum.
I thought in Europe there was still no approval for delivery. But I read in your story that you get your licenses plates actually this year, that’s really great, I’m wishing you good luck/Karma

The latest I heard is that there is no approval for all European countries yet; the speed of the process differs per country.

The Karma got the final Dutch approval on Tuesday, when people from the RDW (Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer; State Service for Road Traffic) visited Kroymans in Hilversum. This week there will be some people from the Tax Service, who will determine that the car can be sold without the BPM-car tax. License plates have been requested last week and should arrive this week.

Another hallo from The Netherlands. Just heard my car will be build 27 December. Hope it will not be a monday morning car on tuesday. Delivery probably beginning of February. Also checking the forum on a daily basis for some time. Was hoping for an Apple OS........ I am not a Microsoft lover. On order Ecosport, Deep Ocean, Black Sand Monotone.

Isn't HP jettisoning the NetOS with the Palm devices? Maybe the software could be ported to that platform. At the very least, they could have written it in Windows Phone 7 or something more reliable.

WebOS yes, but it has not yet been released into open source. As for windows, the closest bet would have been Windows 8, and while I find it great so far, we won't see a beta until February let alone something for Fisker to use. I think something on Linux/Android would have been best if they couldn't go full custom

It's webOS (weird capitalization and all) and HP just announced it is going to be releasing it and all of it's various development tools as Open Source, but has not yet done so. I've been a webOS user on my Pre smartphone for years, and have also written an App for webOS and I sincerely beleive it's the best mobile OS on the market. It was able to do things years ago that iOS can still only dream of (true multitasking, unobtrusive notifications, etc) and I was hopeful when HP took the reigns it would finally get the traction and funding it needed to take hold. Due to a well chronicled series of events at HP, the OS was killed, resurrected, and will be made freely available soon.

IMO, It would be a really nice choice for a vehicle's infotainment system, but I think that ship has sailed. There's no rational reason to expect they would completely rewrite the Command Center software for a new platform. We should expect evolutionary and not revolutionary changes to what they've delivered from this point on. I think the majority of the bugs will be discovered and squashed in the next six months. There will be initial teething pains, but the Command Center software will level out and improve in performance and reliablility eventually, like every other first-generation software system. (I don't care about the 6.x designation - as far as I'm concered the version that hits a real customer's hands for the first time in a production car is version 1.0)
