When I place the order they said January. I'm trying to get an update.

Welcome. Who are you working with on your order? There's a dealer opening in Palo Alto this month.

I've been working with Sunnyvale Toyota but the FiskerSiliconValley group is moving from that dealer to the new McLaren Dealership in Palo Alto at the end of this month.
By the way, they are now saying I may get my Karma before the end of the year. It's supposed to go into production in 2 weeks.

If you ordered on August 29th and production will start in just two weeks time, you must have leaped over a lot of the 3000 deposit holders. I am having a hard time figuring out how this allocation process works.

Anyway, lucky you, as your wait will only be a few months. Most of us have been waiting for 3 to 4 years now and still aren't driving (or even know when we'll be driving). Mine has already been produced but is stuck at the factory awaiting the European certificate of compliance. Well that's the price we pay for being first (by a nose length).

I got an update from my dealer yesterday. He now says "Based on Fisker Production dates your car is schedule to be built in December first week and delivey late January."
We'll see.

Another Update. Delivery date is now set for February 21st. However, now I have a VIN number so the car has been built. EcoSport, Inferno, Canyon Tritone #1188

Keep an eye on the ship its on, expect it to be on the wrong ship (they don't always know which one its on) but it will still make it to Newark within a week of when they expect it. Then it stays in Newark for roughly 10 days for upgrading, etc, etc. Then gets on a truck and has to be delivered to dealer in 10 days. Then 3 days for dealer prep, etc. Deliveries are getting more consistent. you'll love your car! Remember to post pictures when you get it. Otherwise it didn't happen Smile
