Hmmm, so much for snipping the wires to the speakers. Unless you're willing to have a warning light on all the time.

Too bad valet mode doesn't set a maximum speed or distance.

Haven't had a chance to download and read yet, but id assume you could find find a way to kill signal to the speaker yet send back a positive signal so that the car is unaware.

tHough, I think Fisker did a good job with the sound.

Pretty good read. Some of the sections are still a bit rough and need to be properly edited but overall, it's pretty good. Apparently, there is a completely separate document called "Toouch-Screen Users Manual" that describes the operation of the command center in greater detail. (See: 5.12). Thanks for posting this.

I saw the hardcopy of the Touch Screen manual and quickly paged through it, but I didn't get an electronic version. It was one of several booklets that come with the car. See my longer post about my test drive today in the Dealer Demo thread.

There is somemore of the weight. 28 liters of 50/50 coolant & water. 12 for the engine, 12 for the battery, and 4 for the electric drive components. That's 65 pounds of coolant.

Sticky tires also give lower mileage. The Prius gets a lot of its mileage by having tires that, when you turn the wheel, keep on plowing straight ahead. Big Grin

Tirerack.com lists a Continental tire in the same size as the Goodyear F1 with a treadware rating of 540 that is more than twice the rating of the Goodyear F1 which comes in at 220. Also, at $190 each, the Continental is slightly cheaper than the F1 at $240 each. They also have a Yokohama tire in that size with a treadware rating of 420 but slightly expensive than the F1 at $254 each. All three tires are load rated at XL, so that is not a factor.

So after the Goodyear F1s that come with the car wear out, we have some options for trading price/wear against performance.
