EVs No More at Risk for Post-Collision Fires Than ICE Powered Cars
Reaching a conclusion that should come as no surprise to anyone reading this forum, NHTSA closed the investigation on the Chevrolet Volt fires and generally concluded that EVs are no more at risk for post-collision fire than any other car. Here is a link to the final report. I doubt that this will satisfy everyone in the EV Hater community, but at least there was some vindication for the battery.
