Default Hi from Hungary - should I buy a Karma? Where to service?

Hi, I am Peter from Hungary.

I would love to buy a Karma, but I am afraid of the lack of service e.g. service shops nearby (not service parts, as they are available, as I could get it, from eBay etc.).

Anyone who is living in / near Hungary? Where can I service my Karma, if I buy one.

I will sum it real fast for you . You would be crazy to buy a Karma based on where you live .

I think Kroymans is the only European service.

Just keep in mind most small things can be done anywhere (oil change, basic services, etc) as that aspect of maintenance is standard GM and parts are easily available. A prime example is I actually order all my Aston Martin parts myself from the UK and have a local shop install them and rarely go to an authorized local facility - it's cheaper even with shipping than buying parts from US vendors and it might be the same for you in the case of a Fisker.

That all said, anything major (ie battery issue, RDM, etc) would need to go to someone who can address the issue and have the factory software/scan tool so you would want a car that is sorted and possibly had batteryand motor work already done to ensure lower risks.

The Karma web site lists 4 official CSPs.
Kroymans is one of them, but it will be the longest drive.
The 3 others are owned by Swiss Emil Frey group. They used to have some (about 10?) locations around. AFAIK they are all still in operation but not officially listed. You may want to contact fisker-automobile.com about what they could do. They also might have good Karma for sale ;-)

If the support is available, then Peter should be fine. Even here in the US I have to ship my car over 300km (200mi) for service, so it would be a similar situation.
